By a Fisherman, For a Fisherman...
One day I was studying the Delaware for some spots to drop the kayak and do a float trip. Epic Topwater Session...
We started the day out fishing deep cause it was kinda hot. We were fishing a 15-20 feet steep drop off. Couldn’t get bit on the tube or the spinnerbait so we started to cruise towards the shallower water. As we got close to the shore we fished a grass line that started at the bank and came out about 10’ or so and that was about 12’ of water. Honey Holes....
Everyone has them. We swear no one knows about them. But to us it is a sanctuary we can call our own just for the time we get to spend there when there is no other fishermen around. It’s a time to hone in on our skills and correct some mistakes without any interruption. These spots are sacred to us and we want to believe no one else knows it’s here. Maybe! Using Google Maps to catch bass...
If you are like me then you most likely you have a few rods and some gear in your vehicle at all times. On Sunday my daughters had a horseback lesson at a college. Since it was a good hike from home I decided I was going to wait for them to finish the tour and lesson of the equestrian center. As I was sitting there I pulled up Google maps and decided to see what was around. I knew there had to be some type of pond or creek near by. Low and behold one shows up about 5 minutes

Winter Perch Fishing...
We been having an awesome time smashing big perch during our winter here as the bass slow down. It has been pretty easy to find them and when you do it will be a 100 fish day. 1/4 oz jig head with a 3" paddle tail shad and some 6lb test. Forget about it! We have been slaying them. These little pigs where weighing in at 1-2 lbs. It has bee an awesome winter of fishing so far. #gethooked #louslures #fishingfiends

Smashing Trophy Smallies on my Cranks...
From my local spots on the Delaware River to western branches of the Susquehanna for 20" trophy's with the Susquehanna Smallmouth Solutions boys. Even up north to Miane on the Penobscot River. These cranks produce. Bouncing of rocks and getting smashed by the aggressive river smallmouth, these bad boys hold up to the test. These poppers get bit. PERIOD!
Here are a few shots from Denise Esteppe, a member of the Get Hooked group and 3rd place winner from last years Supper Basshole Fishing Tournament for her region. These poppers went to Kevin Wilson who started the tournament over in the Northwest Bassholes facebook group.
